José Pedro Fuenzalida Gana ((:xoˈse ˈpeðɾo fwensaˈliða); born 22 February 1985) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays for Argentine Primera División club Boca Juniors. ==Club career== Product of Universidad Católica youth system, Fuenzalida was promoted to the first-adult team in 2004 aged nineteen. He debuted in a 4–0 defeat with Unión Española at San Carlos de Apoquindo for the Torneo Apertura, moment which was considered as one of the club's biggest sports crisis following Oscar Garré dismissal, team's coach. During 2007 winter, Fuenzalida aged twenty-two decided to take a break as footballer to study comercial engineering at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. After six month studying he returned to professional football and joined rivals Colo-Colo, which reached a four-year deal. Fuenzalida debuted on 13 January 2008 against Universidad de Concepción and scored his first goal in a 2–1 home win over Deportes Antofagasta. A mid year, he joined O'Higgins on loan after an unsuccessful season which only completed seven games and one goal during the tournament. During his spell at Rancagua-based team, he usually played as right winger in coach Jorge Sampaoli's 4–3–3 scheme, scoring 14 goals in 52 appearances during it. In December 2009, it was reported that Fuenzalida finished his loan spell at O'Higgins and would return to Colo-Colo to face the next season. Years later, he helped to won the Torneo Apertura 2014, being a key player in the title obtention which was his first honour in the club.
